Volleyball Team Posts Wins Over Nedrose And Bottineau
The Stanley Blue Jays varsity volleyball team had two matches on their schedule last week. On Tuesday, Sept. 15 they were on the road to play Nedrose, winning the match in straight sets. On Thursday, Sept. 17, they hosted Bottineau, again posting the straight set win.

On the road on Tuesday, Sept. 15, the Blue Jays met up with the Nedrose Cardinals. Stanley claimed the first set with a score of 25-12 and followed that up with wins of 25-17 and 25-8 to take the match in straight sets.
As a team, they had 34 kills, 9 aces, 52 digs, 1 block and 29 assists.
Individual stats for the Blue Jays were as follows:
Khloe Jemtrud had 1 kill, 3 aces, 11 digs and 3 assists.
Taya Niemitalo had 1 kill and 1 assist.
Karley Jemtrud had 5 kills, 1 ace, 4 digs and 1 assist.
Brenna Wenger had 6 kills and 5 digs.
Dani Hermanson had 8 kills, 1 ace, 10 digs and 1 assist.
McKenzie Bohrer had 3 aces and 6 digs.
Jozey Sorenson had 1 kill.

Maycee Copeland had 5 kills, 1 assist, 13 digs, .5 block and 21 assists.

Stanley vs. Bottineau
The Blue Jays returned home on Thursday, Sept. 17, hosting the Bottineau Stars. They took this match in straight sets with scores of 25-11, 25-14 and 25-17.
As a team, they had 34 kills, 14 aces, 47 digs, 4 blocks and 31 assists.
