Golf Season Statistics
With the Blue Jay golf season complete, coaches released results from the last events.
On May 15, the Blue Jays were in action at the Northwest Conference Meet in Burlington. Powers Lake was first as a team with a score of 347, followed by Divide County with 354 and Stanley with 358.
Individual scores for the Blue Jays were Tyke Barstad with 85, Kane Reep with 86, Eli Brewer with 93, Colter Fladeland with 94, Chase Brown with 96 and Ashton Peterson with 100.
On May 18, three golfers were in action at the Mohall Invite. Individually, Jake Germundson scored 82; Hunter Warta, 122; and Henry Sorenson, 125.
The Region 6 Tournament was at the Tioga Invite on May 19. Powers Lake was first with a score of 339 and Stanley was second with 340. Individual scores for the Blue Jays were Tyke Barstad with 83, Coda Fladeland with 85, Colter Fladeland with 86, Chase Brown with 86, Eli Brewer with 88 and Kane Reep with 93.
At the Super Regional in Medora on May 26, the top four teams qualified for state with Bowman County taking top honors with a 324, followed by Shiloh Christian with 329, and Heart River and Dickinson Trinity tied with 330. Stanley was fifth with 343 and Powers Lake was sixth with 345.
Individually, Colter Fladeland qualified for the individual state tournament with a score of 83, along with Tyke Barstad and Kane Reep with a score of 85. Eli Brewer wrapped up the tournament with a score of 90, Coda Fladeland with 99 and Chase Brown with 101.
At the State Tournament on June 2 and 3, Tyke Barstad placed 61st with a total score of 151; Kane Reep, 116th with 174; and Colter Fladeland, 126th with 178.
