Cross Country Runners In Mandan
The Mandan Kiwanis Invitational was held at the Mandan Municipal Golf Course on Friday, Sept. 4.
In the boys’ varsity race, Mandan was first with a score of 86, followed by Legacy with 87, Bowman County with 90, Dickinson with 107 and Century with 178. New Town was 7th with 226.
Individually, Dehico Bocanegra Tevor of Watford City was first with a time of 15:52.87. New Town’s Kade Lambert was fourth with 16:18.19; Tekoah Hood, 23rd with 17:34.85; Brycen Bell, 55th with 18:58.91; Creedance Fox, 71st with 19:45.42; Sean Lyson, 73rd with 19:56.64; Dane Young Bird, 75th with 20:06.08; Tracy Lyson, 76th with 20:08.35; Canden Cummings, 84th with 20:34.09; Rising Eagle Heart, 11th with 22:44.10; Andres Villafuerte, 116th with 23:20.40; and Tanner Abby, 117th with 23:40.91. Stanley’s Payton Harper was 53rd with 18:56.54; Trent Bohrer, 79th with 20:13.20; and Isaak Longmuir, 95th with 21:38.65. Parshall’s Kingston Foote was 109th with 22:34.51; Coming Cloud Perkins, 110th with 22:34.88; and Kaidis LongTimeSleeping, 114th with 23:16.46.
In the varsity girls’ race, Bowman County was first with a score of 48, followed by Shanley with 54, Mandan with 70, Minot with 112 and Dickinson with 154. New Town was 10th with 231 and Stanley was 11th with 323.
Individually, Hayva Weisbeck of Mandan was first with a time of 18:32.95. Parshall’s Haydyn Chase was 17th with 20:30.33. Stanley’s Jessy Roise was 35th with 21:43.59; Charley Reum, 61st with 22:36.47; Hadley Reum, 91st with 24:05.01; Henzlie Longmuir, 93rd with 24:10.79; Mya Anderson, 95th with 24:14.13; and Teigan Moe, 106th with 24:59.44. New Town’s Shayla Hogan was 37th with 21:48.31; Tori Hale, 44th with 21:58.38; Hadley Drosdal, 53rd with 22:25.30; Parker LeBeau, 66th with 22:50.36; Eva Knight, 69th with 23:10.46; Cedar Fitzsimmons, 101st with 24:48.49; Adriene Johnson, 104th with 24:58.35; and Inaani Wilson, 119th with 26:14.60.
In the junior varsity boys’ race, Mandan was first with a score of 24, followed by Century with 56, Williston with 81, Legacy with 119 and Dickinson with 148. Stanley was 7th with 269.
Individually, Drake Schoellkopf of Mandan was first with a time of 18:07.43. Stanley’s Dylan Guerrero was 24th with 20:58.37; Chance Drosdal, 40th with 22:03.99; Jaxton Cossette, 52nd with 23:29.43; Griffin Wilson, 68th with 26:07.21; Cash Murphy, 85th with 33:42.22; Tyson Durfee, 86th with 33:59.75; and Pierce Tronset, 87th with 34:43.229. Parshall’s Adrias Walking Elk was 82nd with 29:43.17; and Calling Star Perkins, 84th with 32:35.82.
In the junior varsity girls’ race, Shanley was first a score of 28, followed by Bowman County with 58, Mandan with 70, Century with 110 and Legacy with 138.
Individually, Chloe Mark of Bowman County was first with a time of 22:14.29. Parshall’s Jade Johnson was 14th with 24:34.59; Nevaeh Packineau, 15th with 24:39.89; Victoria Miranda, 42nd with 27:35.61; and Ryleigh Miranda, 60th with 29:37.56. New Town’s Starla McIntosh was 36th with 27:15.52; Marley Danks, 65th with 30:18.23; Ilse Rojas, 66th with 30:26.44; and Shaya Heart, 73rd with 31:30.36. Stanley’s Rio DeTienne was 46th with 28:08.36; Holly Schow, 57th with 29:29.82; River DeTienne, 75th with 32:16.37; and Cassidee Harper, 79th with 35:34.14.
In the middle school boys race, Horizon was first with a score of 31, followed by Williston with 86, Sacred Heart with 113, Simle with 148 and Turtle Mountain with 151. New Town was sixth with 169.
Individually, Brady Konschak of Horizon was first with a time of 10:43.42. New Town’s Jameson Irwin was 11th with 11:37.13; Clarky Knight, 17th with 11:51.83; Kyson Looking Horse, 20th with 11:56.13; Miles Orris, 45th with 12:52.15; and Elvis Hogan, 85th with 15:12.29.
