Blue Jays Host Track Meet

After the meet in Hazen was cancelled on Tuesday, Apr. 7 because of the weather, the Stanley Blue Jays put together a meet at home on Friday, Apr. 10.
On the girls’ varsity side, Harvey/Wells County took home first place as a team with 126 points, followed by Carrington with 105.5, DLB/L&C with 79, Stanley with 74 and Bishop Ryan rounding out the top five with 68. Parshall tied for ninth with 42 team points. In the junior high level, Stanley was first with 68 points, followed by DLB/L&C with 40, Williams County with 16, Powers Lake-Burke Central with 15 and Surrey with 4.
On the boys’ varsity side, Carrington was first with 124.5 team points, followed by DLB/L&C with 97.5, Powers Lake-Burke Central with 93, Harvey/Wells County with 77 and Stanley rounding out the top five with 74. Parshall was seventh with 37 team points. In the junior high level, Williams County was first with 34 team points, followed by Powers Lake-Burke Central with 30, Stanley with 17, and Surrey and Parshall tied for fourth with 10.
