LDS Church Hosts Clothing Swap
The gym at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints in Stanley offered a unique event on Friday, Apr. 10 and Saturday, Apr. 11. They hosted a community-wide clothing swap, inviting people to refresh their wardrobe for free. A similar event was held last June.
People were able to donate what they no longer needed and/or find something new to them that they would love. Shoppers also found some small appliances, toys and decorations to choose from.
All ages and sizes were available from baby clothes to adult styles. You were welcome to shop even if they did not bring anything. It was designed as a great chance to clear out closets, give back and discover some hidden gems. The goal was also to swap, share, and support the community, one outfit at a time.
