Track Teams In Action At Watford City
Track teams from around the area were in Watford City on Tuesday, Apr. 14 for the Watford City Early Bird. Athletes competed at the varsity and junior varsity levels.
In the boys’ varsity, Watford City was first as a team with 142 points, followed by Sidney with 129, Plentywood with 67, New Town with 60, and DLB/L&C rounding out the top five with 56. Stanley was 7th with 38 and Parshall was 13th with 17. In the junior varsity, Watford City was first with 178, followed by Williams County with 135, Sidney with 43, Powers Lake-Burke Central with 42 and Bainville rounding out the top five with 40. Stanley was sixth with 23 and Parshall was 14th with 4.
In the girls’ varsity, Nedrose was first with 94, followed by Watford City with 92, Sidney with 85, DLB/L&C with 69 and Bainville rounding out the top five with 57. Parshall was 8th with 32, Lewis and Clark (Plaza) was 10th with 27, New Town was 11th with 20 and Stanley was 13th with 17. In the junior varsity, Watford City was first with 172.5, followed by Powers Lake-Burke Central with 78, Williams County with 70, New Town with 44 and Parshall rounding out the top five with 43. Stanley was 9th with 19.

Parshall’s Jesse Garcia was 21st with 25.62 and Logan Hoff was 28th with 26.20.
