State Wrestling Tournament
The 2025 Boys and Girls State Tournament will be held Thursday, Feb. 20 through Saturday, Feb. 22 at the Fargodome in Fargo.
The tournament includes individual and team dual competition for Class A and Class B boys. The individual and team dual competition is combined into one class for the girls.
Team dual tournaments are eight-team single elimination with a consolation round competing to a fifth-place match in Class A boys and seventh-place match for Class B boys and girls division. The team duals will be seeded off region seeds for the Class A boys and girls team duals. The Class B boys will be seeded one through five with random draw determining the quarterfinal opponents for the top three seeds.

The tournament starts on Thursday, Feb. 20 with the individual competitions. Wrestlers have weigh in and skin checks starting at 8 a.m. with the first round starting at 10:00 a.m. That will be followed by quarterfinals and first round wrestle backs. Semifinals are set to start at 5:00 p.m.
Friday starts again at 8 a.m. with weigh ins and skin checks. Second round wrestle backs start at 10:00 a.m., followed by third round wrestle backs and the consolation semifinals and placing rounds. The Hall of Fame induction starts at 3:30 p.m. Introductions and finals are set to start at 4:30 p.m.
Saturday is the team dual competition. Weigh ins and skin checks start at 8:00 a.m. Boys’ quarterfinals for Class A and B will start at 10:00 a.m., followed by the girls’ quarterfinals and boys’ consolation semifinals. Semifinals are set to start at 1:00 p.m. with placing matches to follow. Championship matches are set to start at 4:00 p.m.
