Stanley Hosts Junior High/JV Tournament

Stanley hosted their junior high/junior varsity tournament on Saturday, Dec. 14. There were no team scores recorded for the tournament.
In the 6th grade 68-75 weight class, Hunter Maurer placed second. He lost his first match by fall to Tuf Nelson of Jim Hill. In the next round, he won by fall at 3:15 over Euriah Karst of Jim Hill and his final match by fall at 1:27 over Carsen West of Jim Hill.
In the 6th grade 97-101 class, Cooper Skarsgard took first place. He won his first match by fall at :54 over Noah Mendiola of Jim Hill. He followed that up with a win by fall at :28 over Easton Pace of Jim Hill and his final match by fall at 1:22 over Demetri Crawford of Jim Hill.
In the 6th grade 132-145 class, Caleb Belstad placed first. He won his first match by fall at :47 over Rogan Mogren of KBBC and then on a 17-1 tech fall over Mogren.
In the 6th grade 140-145 class, Briggs Lund placed first. He won his first match by fall at 1:59 over Jackson Jorstad of Williams County and his last match by fall at 1:49 over Nathan Stroklund of KBBC.
In the sixth grade 180-185 class, Sosi Whiteshield placed second. He lost his first match by fall at 3:21 to Deklyn Donoven and his second match by fall at 1:08 to Donoven.
In the junior high 70-83 class, Dane Lund placed third. He lost his first match by fall at 1:55 to Isaac Gonzales of KBBC and his second match by fall at 2:00 to Carter Miller of DLB.
In the junior high 97-108 class, Trent Bohrer placed fourth. He lost his first match by fall at 2:46 to Kesler Johnson of Jim Hill. In the second round he lost on a 16-0 tech fall to Jace Heinrich of Velva. He lost his last match by fall at 1:44 to Cooper Rakness of DLB.
In the junior high 107-114 class, Levi Nichols placed second. He won his first round match by fall at 4:00 over Hayden Skrabra of Velva. He lost his second round match by fall at :38 to Daxton Gilder of Williams County and his next match by fall at 2:50 to Carson Tanberg of Jim Hill. He won his final match by fall at :53 over Brody Hansen of DLB.
In the junior high 115-124 class, Kade Lambert placed third. He won his first match by fall at 5:39 over Noah Neiss of Jim Hill. He lost his second match on a 16-4 major decision to James Jesperson of MonDak, but came back to win his next match on an 8-4 decision over Miles Battieger of Jim Hill. He lost his final match by fall at 2:28 to Weston Sheldon of Williams County.
In the junior high 135-140 class, Anthony Nardacci placed fourth. He lost his first match on an 11-4 decision to Ryan Ozuna of Jim Hill and his second round match on an 11-4 decision to William Leppell of Velva. He won his next round match by fall at :45 to James Campos of Jim Hill and then lost his last match by fall at :52 to Billy Schmidt of Killdeer.
In the junior high 169-176 class, Asher Batteiger placed first. He won his first round match by fall at :45 over Charlie Reinoehl of Jim Hill and followed that up with a win by fall at 1:26 over Hudson Thormahlen of Killdeer. In the final round, he won on a 9-0 major decision over Ace Johnson of Stanley.
