Cross Country Runners In Action

Stanley hosted their annual Labor Day meet on Tuesday, Sept. 2. The Blue Jays were also in action on Friday, Sept. 5 at the Williston Chamberlin Meet.
In Stanley on Tuesday, Trinity Christian took home the team title in the boys’ varsity race with a score of 65, followed by Bottineau with 87, DLB/Lewis and Clark with 96, Killdeer with 97 and Kenmare-Bowbells rounding out the top five with 108. Parshall finished in tenth with a team score of 287.
Individually, Eli Anderson of Kenmare-Bowbells was first with a time of 18:15.02. Stanley’s Jason White was 24th with 20:55.86. Parshall’s ComingCloud Perkins was 42nd with 22:42.77; Bronson Bruce, 47th with 23:24.92; and Kingston Foote, 61st with 25:22.58.
In the boys’ junior varsity race, Bottineau was first with a score of 32, followed by Killdeer with 62, Tioga with 121, Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood with 125, and Kenmare-Bowbells rounding out the top five with 149.
Individually, Aeson Kortgaard of Bottineau was first with a time of 11:55.95. Parshall’s Adrias Walking Elk was 35th with a time of 17:16.36. Stanley’s Tyson Durfee was 38th with a time of 17:54.64.
In the girls’ varsity race, Bottineau was first with a score of 49, followed by Kenmare-Bowbells with 90, DLB/LC with 92, Killdeer with 96 and Stanley rounding out the top five with 119. Parshall was seventh with 177.
Individually, Addie Miller of Killdeer was first with a time of 20:23.33. Parshall’s Haydyn Chase was 9th with 21:42.17 and Manyiah Walker, 30th with 26:27.14. Stanley’s Annie Roise was 10th with 21:44.02; Italia Rodriguez, 13th with 22:09.17; Jessy Roise, 19th with 23:00.45; and Teigan Moe, 32nd with 26.49:11.
In the girls’ junior varsity race, Killdeer was first with a score of 45, followed by Bottineau with 71, Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood with 99, Stanley with 111 and DLB/LC rounding out the top five with 159. Parshall was 11th with 207.
Individually, Avery Linseth of Killdeer was first with a time of 13:42.24. Stanley’s River DeTienne was 4th with 13:59.83; Hadley Reum, 7th with 14:15.14; Mya Anderson, 19th with 15:27.74; Kaylynn Jones, 36th with 17:26.21; and Corra Parkinson, 45th with 22:09.42. Parshall’s Nevaeh Packineau was 22nd with 15:38.80; and Isabella Williams, 44th with 20:45.92.
In Williston on Friday, Sept. 5, Williston was first as a team in the boys’ varsity race with a score of 19, followed by Dickinson with 83, Glasgow with 149, Trinity Christian with 170 and Dawson County rounding out the top five with 172.
Individually, Owen Cowan of Williston was first with a time of 17:02.7. Stanley’s Jason White was 75th with a time of 22:02.6.
In the boys’ middle school race, Williston was first with a team score of 18, followed by Tioga with 115.
Individually, Teegan Heser of Williston was first with a time of 11:28.9. Stanley’s Tyson Durfee was 38th with 19:28.2.
In the elementary boys’ race, James Kingston was first with a time of 6:17.21. Stanley’s Jaxton Cossette was third with 6:39.82; Marshall Fjeldahl, 4th with 6:40.99; James Kuster, 5th with 6:50.07; and Hogan Schepp, 6th with 6:59.37.
In the girls’ varsity race, Williston was first with a team score of 25, followed by Dickinson with 73, Killdeer with 77; Dawson County with 90; and Sidney rounding out the top five with 155. Stanley was eighth with 297.
Individually, Harley Jeannotte of Williston was first with a time of 19:50.2. Stanley’s Jessy Roise was 30th with 23:44.3; River DeTienne, 51st with 25:22.3; Hadley Reum, 52nd with 25:25.0; Mya Anderson, 81st with 28:34.6; and Kaylynn Jones, 83rd with 33:10.8.
In the elementary girls’ race, Camryn Wagenecht of Watford City was first with a time of 6:29.2. Stanley’s Henzlie Longmuir was 8th with 7:35.1; Charley Reum, 9th with 7:37.7; and Holly Schow, 16th with 8:38.1
