Blue Jays Face Outlaws In Ray

The Stanley Blue Jays varsity football team was on the road on Friday, Oct. 3 to play the Ray-Powers Lake Outlaws in Ray.
The Blue Jays capitalized on an Outlaws turnover to put the first points on the board after a 26 yard touchdown run by Kayden Uran with the point after attempt failing. The Outlaws, however, would hold the Blue Jays scoreless after that while putting up 41 points of their own. They scored on a passing touchdown in the first quarter with the point after kick good. In the second quarter, they scored on a 41 yard pass with the two point conversion good, a three yard run with the two point conversion failing and a 24 yard pass with the two point conversion failing. In the third quarter, they scored on a 69 yard run with the point after kick good and a 5 yard pass with that point after kick good as well to leave the score at 41-6 in favor of the Outlaws.
The Blue Jays had 31 yards passing and 202 yards rushing in the game. The Outlaws had 169 yards passing and 183 rushing yards in the game.
The Blue Jays turned the ball over on one fumble, while the Blue Jays recovered two fumbles by the Outlaws.

Passing: Kane Reep completed 1 of 12 attempts for 31 yards; Colter Fladeland completed 0 of 1 attempts.
Rushing: Kayden Uran had 169 yards rushing on 23 attempts with one touchdown; Hunter Warta, 16 yards on 8 carries; Regan Gustafson, 15 yards on 3 carries; Kane Reep, 10 yards on 2 carries.
Receiving: Jevon Johnson had 1 catch for 31 yards.
