Blue Jays Drop Game To Bottineau

The Stanley Blue Jays hosted the Bottineau Braves on Friday, Oct. 10 in a tough conference matchup. Although not ranked, the Braves received votes in the most recent poll.
This was a game that was controlled by Bottineau. They scored on a rushing touchdown in the first quarter with the point after kick good. They followed that up with three rushing touchdowns in the second quarter with those point after kicks also good to take a 28 to 0 lead at the half. In the third quarter, Bottineau scored again on a rushing touchdown with the point after kick good, before the Blue Jays got on the scoreboard on a 39 yard pass from Kane Reep to Ashton Peterson with the point after kick good. The Braves put one more touchdown on the board in the fourth quarter to take home the 42 to 7 victory.
Stanley had 177 yards of total offense, including 106 passing yards and 71 rushing yards. They turned the ball over twice on interceptions. Bottineau had 353 yards of offense, including 122 passing yards and 231 rushing yards. They turned the ball over three times, once on a fumble and twice on interceptions.
