Blue Jays Compete At Parshall Meet

It was a slower week for the Stanley Blue Jays track teams as they had just one varsity meet on their schedule last week. They competed at the Parshall Spring Meet on Friday, Apr. 25.
Stanley’s Drake Schlosser also competed on Thursday, Apr. 24 at the Shanley Invitational in Fargo. He ran the 300m hurdles, coming in 9th with a state qualifying time of 41.50. First place in the event went to Trey Knoke of Fargo North with a time of 37.99.
At the Parshall meet, Ben Hynek qualified for state in the shotput with a distance of 47-11.50.
At the Parshall meet, Parshall took home first place in the girls’ division with 184.5 team points, followed by Williams County with 100.5, Stanley with 93, Garrison with 86.5 and Mandaree rounding out the top five with 26. In the boys’ division, Stanley was first with 174.5 team points, followed by Garrison with 151, Williams County with 107, Parshall with 65.5 and Mandaree with 6.

100 meters: Kyler Schreiner of Garrison was first with a time of 12.46. Stanley’s Logan Longmuir was second with 12.50; Kayden Uran, 5th with 12.66; Max Jackson, 7th with 12.79; Austin Kanenwisher, 8th with 12.83; Oscar Garcia, 9th with 12.84; Jevon Johnson, 10th with 12.92; Ben Hynek, 13th with 13.15; Zeke Wienbar, 14th with 13.17; Kolton Longmuir, 15th with 13.20; Andrew Torres, 25th with 14.27; and Alex Salgado, 27th with 14.60. 200 meters: Rylan Hollingshead of Williams County was first with a time of 23.95. Stanley’s Logan Longmuir was second with 24.48; Zeke Wienbar, 4th with 25.19; Max Jackson, 7th with 25.91; Ben Hynek, 8th with 26.24; Alex Salgado, 17th with 29.30; and Andrew Torres, 18th with 29.39. Parshall’s Brendan Haakenson was 9th with 26.32; Nathaniel Baca, 10th with 26.53; Parker Baker, 11th with 26.67; Kalon Brien, 19th with 29.61; and Angel Moradel, 22nd with 31.72.
400 meters: Rylan Hollingshead of Williams County was first with a time of 51.08. Logan Longmuir of Stanley was 2nd with 53.13; Oscar Garcia, 3rd with 54.44; Zeke Wienbar, 4th with 56.29; Kolton Longmuir, 5th with 56.53; Max Jackson, 7th with 59.63; and Logan Neset, 13th with 1:03.71. Kalon Brien of Parshall was 8th with 59.93.
800 meters: Stanley’s Landon Goettle was first with a time of 2:24.33 and Jason White was second with 2:27.38.
1600 meters: Stanley’s Logan Neset was first with a time of 5:22.51 and Jason White was second with 5:30.58.
110m hurdles: Aidan Ermer of Garrison was first with a time of 15.49. Austin Kanenwisher of Stanley was second with 19.01 and Alex Salgado was 5th with 21.20. Parshall Logan Hoff was fourth with 21.14; Mahki Packineau, 6th with 21.55; and Easton Locken, 7th with 22.37.
300m hurdles: Aidan Ermer of Garrison was first with a time of 42.22. Stanley’s Oscar Garcia was 2nd with 44.07; Kayden Uran, third with 45.33; Austin Kanenwisher, 5th with 47.97; and Alex Salgado, 8th with 51.46. Parshall’s Mahki Packineau was 6th with 49.44 and Logan Hoff was 7th with 51.00.
4x100 relay: Garrison was first with a time of 47.04 and Parshall was second with 50.52.
4x200 relay: Garrison was first with a time of 1:38.62 and Parshall was third with 1:43.33.
Shot put: Ben Hynek of Stanley was first with a distance of 47-11.50; Hunter Warta, 2nd with 36-10.50; Levi Uran, 3rd with 36-10.00; Griffin Wilson, 7th with 34-02.00; Jud Anderson, 10th with 30-10.50; Gary Danks, 11th with 30-00.00; and Andrew Torres, 14th with 25-02.00. Parshall’s Rylan Myers was 4th with 35-01.00; Jacob Miles, 13th with 25-11.00; and Jesse Dwarf, 15th with 25-01.00.
Discus: Ben Hynek of Stanley was first with a distance of 132-04; Levi Uran, 4th with 98-01.50; Gary Danks, 8th with 85-09; Griffin Wilson, 9th with 79-08; and Jud Anderson, 10th with 76-11. Parshall’s Rylan Myers was second with 106-08; Jesse Dwarf, 11th with 72-03; and Jacob Miles, 13th with 64-03.
Javelin: Evan Rensch of Garrison was first with a distance of 112-01. Parshall’s Rylan Myers was 8th with 84-08 and Jacob Miles was 12th with 66-10. Stanley’s Griffin Wilson was 9th with 84-00; Jud Anderson, 10th with 78-02; and Gary Danks, 11th with 69-09.
High jump: Austin Kanenwisher of Stanley was first with a height of 5-04.00. Parshall’s Mahki Packineau was 2nd with 5-00.00; Easton Locken, 3rd with 4-10.00; and Logan Hoff, 5th with 4-08.00.
Long jump: Aidan Ermer of Garrison was first with a distance of 17-04.00. Parshall’s Parker Baker was 6th with 15-00.00 and Easton Locken was 8th with 14-00.00. Stanley’s Jud Anderson was 9th with 12-04.00.
