Stanley vs. Bottineau
At home on Monday, Feb. 2, the Blue Jays met up with Bottineau. Stanley vs. Turtle Mountain
On the road on Thursday, Feb. 5, the Blue Jays met up with Turtle Mountain. This game belonged to Turtle Mountain from the start as they held a 23 to 8 lead at the end of the first quarter on their way to the 70 to 44 win.
Head coach Hunt said,  I’m proud of how the girls came out and battled. We got down in the first quarter, but we didn’t roll over. We kept fighting. You have to give a ton of credit to Coach Gourneau and their team. They’re a battle-tested squad that made the state tournament last year, they’ve been near the top of the polls all season, and they’ve got nine seniors who know how to win. Our girls showed a lot of heart against that kind of team.”
