Blue Jay Boys Post Win Over TGU
The Stanley varsity boys’ basketball team was in action in the first game on the schedule for the Dale Brown Hoopster Classic at the Minot State University Dome. The Blue Jays held a 13 to 7 lead at the end of the first quarter and maintained that six point lead at the half. A strong third quarter gave the Blue Jays an eighteen point lead heading into the fourth, where they claimed the 60 to 48 win.
Jevon Johnson led the team with 25 points, followed by Austin Kanenwisher with 12, Ashton Peterson with 10, Landon Hunting with 8, Zeke Wienbar and Landon Goettle with 2 each, and Tyke Barstad with 1.
