Margo Joan Niemitalo, Ishkodeakiing imaabiindig “The Fire Inside Mother Earth”, age 84, of Casa Grande, AZ, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on October 17, 2024. A celebration of life will be held on October 17, 2025 in New Town, ND. In lieu of memorials, Margo would want people to help and support those suffering from the disease of addiction.

Vicke R. Omar, 72, of Stanley, ND, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Monday, October 28, 2024, at her home in Stanley, ND. There will be a public visitation held at the Our Saviors Free Lutheran Church from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2024 with a family service to follow and begin at 5:00 p.m. Vicke’s funeral service will be on Friday, November 1, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Our Saviors Free Lutheran Church in Stanley, ND. Pastor Erin Tormanen will officiate. Vicke will be laid to rest at the Fairview Cemetery in Stanley, ND. A full obituary will run next week.
