After a courageous battle with cancer, Rita Uran, age 72, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026, at the Mountrail County Medical Center in Stanley. Rita’s funeral was held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Bethel Lutheran Church, New Town. She was laid to rest at Grand Valley Lutheran Cemetery, rural New Town. In place of flowers, memorials are preferred to Bethel Lutheran Church, New Town Ambulance, or New Town Fire Department. Katie Ruth Kelly Wisthoff Wiedrick was received into the arms of her Lord on January 8, 2026, at the age of 91.
