Following a decline in health, Bernida Mae Johnson died peacefully at the Schniedmiller Hospice House on May 21, 2025, at the age of 90. A celebration of Bernida’s life was held in Idaho. Burial was held at Rosehill Memorial Park in Minot, ND on Monday, August 4, 2025. The family requests consideration of donation to Hospice of North Idaho. Jason Allen Olson, 59, Billings, MT, passed away on July 26, 2025, after a three-year courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family at his home. Arrangements made by The Heights Family Funeral Home, Billings, MT. A prayer and share service was held at The Heights Family Funeral Home on Sunday, August 3, 2025. A celebration of Jason’s life was held at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Billings, MT, on Monday, August 4, 2025, with Pastor Paul Jones officiating. There was a public visitation held at the Springan Stevenson Funeral Home on Friday, August 1, 2025, with a family service and rosary vigil following. Mitchell’s funeral mass was held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Stanley, ND. Father Jason Signalness officiated. Mitchell will be laid to rest at the Western Fraternal/Bohemian Cemetery in Ross, ND.
