Women’s Goal Setting Summit Held

Women across the Midwest were invited to kick off 2026 with purpose and passion at the You Flourish Women’s Annual Goal Setting Summit on Friday, Jan. 9. The event was held in person at the Avalon Events Center in Fargo, while a live watch party was hosted at The Pines in Stanley by Thrivent advisors Rebecca Goettle and Kristin Iverson. A group of ladies from across northwest North Dakota attended the day focusing on their goals for 2026 and networking with other women.
The event was designed to help women across all stages of their career and personal lives define, set and achieve meaningful goals through healthy habit forming. The summit equipped attendees with tools, insights and connections for success in the coming year.

You Flourish says that goal-setting doesn’t have to feel like a chore. Whether you are dreaming up corporate, personal, health, or financial goals, joy should be part of the equation. Too often, we take life so seriously that we forget to actually enjoy it. This year’s Women’s Goal Setting Summit was designed to shake things up because success is way more fun when you’re actually having fun.
The summit featured a high-energy day packed with inspiring speakers, practical strategies, and contagious laughter to set bold goals to make 2026 the year you thrive without losing the fun along the way.
Participants also engaged in peer advisory sessions, fostering community and connection among likeminded, goal-driven women.
Attendees created personalized action plans, bridging the gap between inspiration and tangible steps toward success.
After the success of last year’s event, Goettle was happy to bring the event back again this year.
