Stanley FFA To Hold Equipment Parade And Annual Banquet

Stanley FFA To Hold Equipment Parade And Annual Banquet

Stanley FFA has a busy week ahead. On Monday, March 24th, our Agronomy, Ag Sales, and Livestock Judging teams will compete at the state contest in Minot. Then, on Wednesday, March 26th, we will celebrate our Drive Your Farm Equipment to School Day. At this event, students will fill the High School parking lot with farm equipment, and then at 2:00 p.m., we will host our 5th annual Farm Equipment parade down Main Street. Please join us for our event to help celebrate National Ag Week.
To keep the celebration of National Ag Week going, we invite you to our Annual FFA Banquet at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 27th, at the Mountrail County South Complex. This event is free to attend, with no RSVP required. This year, our speaker is John Miller, a retired but active fourth-generation beekeeper. He now devotes his life to grandchildren, bee research, and forage initiatives. John is a former two-term Chair of the National Honey Board and President of the California State Beekeepers Association and currently is President of N.D. Beekeepers Association, which funds more bee research than any state organization in America. He authors a monthly article in Bee Culture Magazine and is a co-creator of “Honeystinger Energy Waffles.” We are very excited to hear from him this year, along with celebrating the success of our members.
We would also like to congratulate the March raffle winners: Brad Haas, Mark Zaun, Brandon Fretheim, Logan Lapica and Sandy Harstad. Thank you for your continued support of Stanley FFA!
