Stanley FFA Named State Horse Evaluation Champs
Stanley FFA had six members compete at the North Dakota State FFA Horse Evaluation Contest at North Dakota State University on May 9th. Our members found much success as they were named the state champion team! Individual results include Marli Honrud receiving 4th place, Sidney Enerson receiving 10th place, Tylie Johnson receiving 11th place, Prayrie Lund and Ziva Ottesen receiving silver honors, and Kelsee Ottesen receiving bronze honors. These members will compete at the National FFA Convention in October.
Upcoming events for Stanley FFA:
Members are gearing up for the North Dakota State FFA Convention in June. We have twenty members competing in different events throughout the convention this year, and we look forward to their participation. We are excited for our members to show their livestock and static exhibits at Mountrail County Achievement Days on July 9th and 10th and at the North Dakota State Fair July 18-26. We are planning a golf tournament for August 23rd to fundraise for our trip to the National FFA Convention. Look for more information coming soon!
