Stanley FFA Competes At Western National Roundup And North Dakota FFA LDE Day
Stanley FFA had four members, Madilyn Hunting, Rebecca Littlefield, Katy Roise and Brooklyn Weyrauch, represent the state of North Dakota by completing at the National Western Roundup Meats Evaluation Contest at Colorado State University on January 11th. These members had much success, with Katy Roise being named the first-place individual and the team placing third overall. We would like to thank those who donated time and money to support these members, including coaches Gary Martens and Shane Giedd. After the contest, members enjoyed the Denver Stock Show before heading home.
Along with heading to Denver, Stanley FFA members were in Bismarck on January 7th to compete in state leadership development events. Landon Goettle competed in the Creed contest and received a bronze. Griffin Wilhelmi competed in Employment Skills and received a bronze. The Conduct of Chapter Meetings team consisting of Jacee Johnson (President), Jozey Sorenson (Vice President), Natalia Rodriquez (Secretary), Henry Sorenson (Treasurer), Colter Fladeland (Reporter), and Landon Goettle (Sentinel) also received a bronze. Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped with this event.
