Stanley FBLA To Host CPR Demonstration
Are you aware that administering CPR right away can significantly increase a person’s likelihood of survival (doubling or even tripling their chances) after a cardiac arrest? Every year, over 350,000 cardiac arrests take place outside of hospitals. This year, Stanley FBLA is collaborating with The American Heart Association to teach hands-only CPR to others.
On October 11, from 6 to 7 p.m., just before our final home football game, you’ll have the opportunity to learn hands-only CPR from professionals. Members of the Stanley Ambulance team, our School Resource Officer, and our FBLA group will set up a practice area with CPR “dummies” for you to practice effective chest compression techniques.
Tickets for the 50/50 raffle at this football game will be available for purchase to support The American Heart Association.
