School Addition Nearing Completion

Construction of the new CTE wing has been underway at the Stanley High School and now the rooms are getting closer to ready to move into. The project that started in 2024 creates new expanded and updated CTE space for classes like Vo-Ag and FCS. This addition will also allow repurposing of the rooms that previously housed many of those classes.
The FCS classes will get new workstations along with a larger classroom space and access to what will be a new greenhouse.
The Vo-Ag classes are getting many new updates and spaces including a wood-working space, meats lab, plasma table station, and more.
The business classes will also move into classrooms in this new space.
There is also a demonstration room. This theater-style seated room will have multiple uses throughout the school beyond the CTE classes.
This phase of the project is expected to be complete by the end of May or early June.
Once this phase is complete, there will be work done on existing science rooms to update their spaces. Some of the classrooms that will be open after the CTE classes move will also be updated or renovated for other uses.
The janitorial staff will also be making use of the old Vo-Ag classroom spaces.
