For many, after the funeral, when the cards and flowers have stopped coming, most of the people around you return to their normal lives. But the grief continues and many may feel alone.
Often, friends and family want to help, but do not know how. That’s the reason for GriefShare. The group is led by caring people who have experienced grief and have rebuilt their lives. They understand how people feel because they’ve been in the same place. They will walk with you on the long path through grief toward healing and hope for the future.
GriefShare will meet weekly and be an “oasis” on that long journey through grief utilizing video seminars the will be encouraging, information-packed videos featuring leading grief recovery experts. The support group will be a chance for small group discussion about the weekly videos. Workbooks will encourage journaling and personal study exercises that reinforce the weekly session topics.
