New Town Students Place At Science Fair

New Town High School and Middle School students competed in the ND Native American Science Fair in Minot on Wednesday, Feb. 19, with several coming home with awards.
Following are results from the high school competition.
Jhosthine Nina Tavera placed second in the earth science category.
Creszah Mahinay placed first in the botany category.
Demaray Good Medicine and Aubrey Bruhn placed third in the chemistry category.
Angel Lockwood placed first in the engineering category.

Amara Stevens and Kalijah Koteen placed first in the seventh grade animal science category.
Athena Starr placed second in the eighth grade behavioral and social science category.
Cedar Fitzsimmons and Aurora Bratvold placed first in the eighth grade engineering category.
Victor Hale and Mataya Foote placed first in the eighth grade medical science category.
Ilse Rojas and Taylor Benjamin placed second in the eighth grade material science category.
Latayvius Friday and Jayvuani Mae White Eagle placed third in the microbiology category.
