New Town Holds National Night Out

New Town, North Dakota’s 2025 National Night Out was a success! The kids had a lot of fun enjoying all of the games, bounce houses and food. The community really came together and with the help of the New Town Chamber, the event was well attended.
Reynolds Insurance conducted a bike safety course for kids to learn about Stop Signs and proper hand signals. The New Town Police Department had games for the kids to play along with passing out badges to all the kids. New Town Fire Department had little helmets to pass out to kids and showed off their high reaching ladder.
The following first responders were represented: New Town Police; New Town Ambulance; and New Town Fire Department.
Organizers owe a special thanks to the sponsors: New Town Chamber provided the bounce houses, NHS College and NHS College Agriculture Department passed out first aid kits at their Farmers Market, New Town Library hosted a scavenger hunt, Mountrail Williams Electric Coop provided waters to all attendees and sponsored twenty bicycle helmets, Dakota West Credit Union sponsored four bicycles, Reservation Telephone Coop Networks sponsored for four bicycles, Reynolds Insurance hosted a bike safety course, North Country Oil passed out over 200 hamburgers and hot dogs, and United Quality donated bags to all of the participants.
This was a great way to get the community together for kids to meet first responders and learn the ways of the road.
They look forward to National Night Out 2026!
