NDNG 188th Army Band At The Sibyl Center
The ND National Guard 118th Army Band performed at the Sibyl Center on Saturday, June 20. Their summer performance tour is a Salute To Freedom to celebrate America’s 250th birthday.
The Cover Down Brass Ensemble was up first performing a number of marches and patriotic songs, including North Dakota’s state song “Flickertail”.
Flashbang was up next, performing a number of country rock and patriotic numbers as well.
The remaining concerts are all scheduled for Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. Chris Golden is up next, returning this Saturday, June 27. Grammy Award Winner and Grand Ole Opry member Suzy Bogguss takes to the stage on July 11. August will see the Everly Brothers Experience return on August 8 and The Browns returning on August 22. New to the stage will be the Malpass Brothers on August 28.
September 12 will see the return of another Sibyl Center favorite, South of Mason. Henri Herbert and The Fury will perform on September 19. Country music legend Ronnie McDowell will perform on September 26.
October concerts will feature Dan Hare Centerfield with a Creedence Clearwater Revival tribute on October 10. Country music star Darryl Worley will wrap up the performance season on October 24.
