Mountrail County JDA Grant Cycles Now Open
The Mountrail County Job Development Authority is now accepting applications for the 2025 grant cycle.
The Horizon Grant program supports small businesses and communities throughout Mountrail County. Eligible applicants include for-profit businesses, individuals, incorporated cities, and nonprofit organizations.
The Community Grant program was established to fund projects that have a public purpose and aim to improve quality of life, fulfill an essential community need(s), and enhance community programming in Mountrail County.
The Round 1 application deadline is January 31, with Round 2 on March 31, Round 3 on June 30 and Round 4 on September 30. The second through fourth rounds are subject to funding availability.
The grant programs are administered by the Souris Basin Planning Council (SBPC). Applicants are required to meet with SBPC before submitting an application. Applicants are also asked to review the program guidelines for more information including funding priorities, eligible uses, and tips on what makes for a strong application.
