Kick Off Summer In Stanley
The Stanley Commercial Club and its members are adding a new event to their schedule this year with a Kick-Off To Summer at Wilson Park in Stanley next Monday, June 9.
From 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. they are inviting everyone for a free family fun event in the park. There will be inflatables, free swimming (weather permitting), games, music and food.
You are invited to bring the whole family, meet some of our local business owners and enjoy a fun evening in Stanley.
The Commercial Club sponsors many events throughout the year. The Commercial Club is composed of multiple small businesses operating to serve the community’s needs. These businesses are owned and operated by local community members who employ other community members. They generate sales tax revenue that goes back into the community.
The goal of the Commercial Club is to promote local businesses and organize events for the community and surrounding area to enjoy as well as promoting Stanley as a whole.
Some of the upcoming events include: the new Kick-Off to Summer event on June 9; 4th of July activities; Crazy Days on August 7; and Grapes and Grains on September 13.
