Homecoming Pep Rally Held

Homecoming Pep Rally Held

Stanley high school students spent the afternoon on Friday, Sept. 19 on the football field for the homecoming pep rally. The afternoon started with the cheerleaders performing the school song and comments from the football team and coaches.
Class competitions included dodgeball and tug-of-war.
Teachers were selected to receive a pie in the face.
Then it was time for the annual power puff volleyball game. Junior and senior boys faced off for the right to be called champions, with the seniors coming out with the victory. Juniors may have felt they were the unfortunate recipients of some questionable calls.
Things wrapped up with the annual powder puff football game. Junior and senior girls faced off in the flag football game, with the seniors again claiming victory. Juniors may or may not have felt the same way as the boys did in the volleyball matchup.
Homecoming continued in the evening with the football game against Bishop Ryan/Our Redeemers and wrapped up with a homecoming bonfire.
