Halloween Fun For All Ages

Halloween activities in Stanley provided something for everyone.
The annual Trail of Treats started at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31. The earlier start allows for some of the families with younger children to get out ahead of the larger crowds that show up once classes are done for the day at the elementary school. Businesses were busy all afternoon handing out treats to the trick or treaters.
Queen of the Most Holy Rosary’s Holy-ween returned to the Stanley High School gym in the afternoon with Bible-themed games for the kids from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. including St. Michael’s Tug o’ War, St. Peter’s Fish Toss, David and Goliath, All Aboard the Ark, I’m Fall-O-Ween Jesus, Grateful Graffiti, Frog Flinger, Tower of Babel and more.
Local businesses and churches combined efforts for the Fall Spectacular at Mountrail County Fair and South Complex Buildings. This event included trunk or treat, games, NERF black light, music and more. This event is coordinated by The Pursuit.
Trick or treaters were also out going door to door with some houses reporting going through all of the candy they had and having to go get more.
