Flickertail Village Museum Open For The 2022 Season
Flickertail Village Museum, in Stanley, ND, will open for the 2022 season beginning Sunday, June 5, and will be open until Labor Day. Visitors are welcome to tour the museum on Sunday afternoons from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., and Thursdays from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Outside of these hours, visitors may contact one of the board members to make a special appointment. The museum is an open-air, walk-through experience, displaying what pioneer life in the early 1900’s was like in Mountrail County, ND. It is a collection of preserved and restored buildings, housing amazing classic, one-of-a-kind items from household appliances and décor, toys, tools, vehicles, farm equipment, and so much more. It also has a large collection of military memorabilia honoring our local military heroes. The museum truly offers a unique experience for all ages to step back in time and comprehend what life was like in a different era or century. Members of the community are encouraged to share their time and talent by becoming a volunteer at the museum.
