Farmers Markets Held In Stanley

Stanley Farmer’s Market’s season is winding down for the year. One more market is on the schedule for Thursday, Sept. 18 in Wilson Park from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Fresh, local produce and other home-canned and home-baked products, most made with local ingredients can be found at the market each week. You will also find home-made pickles, salsas, jams and jellies, fresh baked bread, cookies and bars, and several types of non-food products available all season long.
The season will wrap up with the annual Harvest Fest on Saturday, Sept. 27.
This market is the grand finale for the season and features something for everyone. The festival is set for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Mountrail County South Complex. Please note this change in location from previous years.
Tractor Supply in Stanley offered a second farmer’s market for shoppers on Saturday, Sept. 13. Vendors were set up throughout the store offering a variety of merchandise choices. They also had their first annual animal swap with an opportunity to buy or sell a new pet. There were several different breeds of puppies available to go to their new home that day.
