Darryl Worley To Perform At Sibyl Center

Darryl Worley and his band will be coming to the Sibyl Center on Saturday, October 24.
Darryl Worley just came off a full Ryman Auditorium show in Nashville and a big Georgia Fair audience. Darryl has number one hits like, “Awful, Beautiful Life,” “I Miss My Friend,” and “Have You Forgotten.” “Have You Forgotten” is the anthem for the 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York City. It was number one on the country charts for two months; the fourth longest number one in history. Hence, Darryl is known as “The Patriot” in the music world, and one of the most respected performers in country music. Other hits include, “A Good Day to Run” and “Tennessee River Run.”
“There is no need to book a flight to Nashville to see Darryl Worley, folks,” says Sibyl Center president Taryn Lumley. “He’ll be right out the back door in Stanley on the 24th. Darryl will be one of the biggest performers to ever step foot in this part of North Dakota - there are tickets left. If you haven’t been to Sibyl Center before, now is the time. Sibyl Center has gained notoriety in the upper Midwest as a top performance venue. We do this so everyone in our community can enjoy the highest quality performers in the country. There are no venues in a city as small as ours with names this big in music. Sibyl Center is not a club; Sibyl is a world class performance arts venue. My team and I choose our performances to appeal to a wide age group. Most of Darryl’s big hits were from 2000-2010; so, he hits a wide age range of music lovers from 30 years old on up. This will be the smallest rural venue Darryl has ever played in, let’s show him we appreciate the best here in Stanley. Sibyl Center is a 501c3 non-profit; we do not make profit on any shows. The costs are always above ticket sales. Those costs are paid, in part, by grants, donations, gaming funds, civic/county program funds, etc. Freedom Matters USA has made it possible to bring these major stars in the music industry to Stanley. Visit Freedommattersusa.com to learn more. My team and I at Sibyl Center would love nothing more than to bring the biggest stars in entertainment to Stanley; we need to fill the seats to do it. We want Stanley to be the best city in North Dakota. We are dedicated, at Sibyl Center, to bringing the best to Stanley and to Western ND.” The show starts at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. Tickets are for a set fee and can be purchased at sibylcenter.org or the Sibyl Center Facebook page. Tickets will also be available at the door. There is no guarantee they won’t be sold out. You can reserve tickets by emailing info@sibylcenter.org and pay at the door.
