Cheerleaders Remember September 11

At halftime of the football game on Friday, Sept. 12, the Stanley Blue Jay cheerleaders remembered September 11, 2001. As they took the field they asked for a moment of silence to remember all those who lost their lives that day, as well as the emergency responders. They remembered Stanley’s Ann Nicole Nelson who died that day in the twin towers.
The sounds of Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless The USA” filled the air at the Lyne Enget field with the cheerleaders performance including intricate stunting and patriotic salutes to remember that solemn occasion.
