4-H Meat Judging Team Takes First At National Western Round Up
The North Dakota/Mountrail County 4-H Meat Judging team participated in the National Western Round Up contest on January 10th in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Their hard work and dedication paid off and they received 1st place overall and took home many high placings. This year’s team was coached by Gary Martens and Shane Giedd.
Team results: First place overall, first place in Retail ID, first place in Placing Classes, and 3rd in Reasons.
Individual results: Molly Hansen, 2nd place individual overall, 1st place with a perfect score in Retail ID, 2nd in Reasons. Rebecca Littlefield, 5th place individual overall, 2nd in Placing Classes. Brooklyn Weyrauch, high individual in Placing Classes. Cooper Sem, 3rd place in Retail ID with a perfect score.
