Golfers In Action In Crosby And Burlington

Stanley’s golfers were in action at the Northwest Conference in Crosby on Thursday, May 9, placing 4th as a team with a score of 384.
Individual scores for the Blue Jays were as follows:

The Blue Jays also were in action at the Northern Tier Classic in Burlington on Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11.
On day one, the Blue Jays finished with a team score of 347 earning the team a sixth place standing.
Individual scores for the first day saw Josh Hetzel in seventh place individually with an 80; Tyler Gjellstad in eighteenth with 87; Jaxson Vachal in 22nd with 88; Caleb Mortensen in 31st with 92; Griffin Wilhelmi in 36th with 95; and Eli Brewer in 49th with 106.
On day two, the Blue Jays finished with a team score of 348. Their two day total of 695 put them in sixth place overall for the two days.
Individually, Tyler Gjellstad shot a 79; Josh Hetzel, 81; Griffin Wilhelmi, 92; Eli Brewer, 96; Jaxson Vachal 97; and Caleb Mortensen, 100.
Overall, Hetzel finished ninth individually with a two day total of 161; Gjellstad, 16th with 166; Vachal, 31st with 185; Wilhelmi, 33rd with 187; Brewer, 39th with 192; and Mortensen, 47th with 202.
The top eleven individuals for the tournament, pictured above, were Max Palmer, Bottineau; Champ Hettich, Beulah, Rider Schmidt, Nelson County and Cade Fitterer, Dickinson Trinity, tied for third; Asher Vigesaa, Beulah; Ty Dassinger, Dickinson Trinity and Eli Miller, DLB, tied for sixth; Logan Gross, Dickinson Trinity; Josh Hetzel, Stanley; and John Renaud, DLB and Payten Lindbo, Our Redeemers, tied for tenth.
