Blue Jays Face DLB In Season Finale

The Stanley Blue Jay varsity football team wrapped up their season with their final home game on Friday, Oct. 14 when they hosted the DesLacs-Burlington Lakers.
This game belonged the Lakers, who have been having a strong season this year. They put 58 points on the board, compared to 14 for the Blue Jays.
The Blue Jays scored in the first quarter on a four yard run by Ethyn Jessen with the point after by Jonathan Chavez good. In the third quarter, Cal  Sorenson scored on a four yard run with the point after attempt also good.
Individual stats for the Blue Jays were as follows:
Offense:
Rushing: Jack Hynek had 78 yards on 6 carries; Ethyn Jessen had 61 yards on 15 carries with one touchdown; Drake Schlosser had 22 yards on three carries; Clay Pappa had 20 yards on 3 carries; and Cal Sorenson had -3 yards on four carries with one touchdown.
Defense:
Cayne Rudolph, 1 tackle, 1 interception; Casyn Bieri, 3 tackles; Jace Anderson, 1 tackle; Braden Moore, 1 tackle; Clay Pappa, 3 tackles; Jack Hynek, 5 tackles; DJ Johnson, 5 tackles, 1 sack; Trey Bohmbach, 2 5 tackles; Tucker Nelson, 1 tackle; Brett Leith, 1 tackle; Tommy Williams, 1 tackle; Willie Nelson, 2 tackles.
